IN FASHION. PHOTOGRAPHS 1950- 2000
A journey through Italian fashion between changes of taste and custom through photography. The great interpreters of fashion, of the haute couture and of the atelier, but also on “street” images of reporters and photo shoots of prêt-à-porter of female fashion magazines with their image-clichés, traces the evolution of taste of Italians, in a multifaceted slice of the ways to dress that changes with the mutation of society and it reflects the different social contexts. An ironic and fascinating game of mirrors that bounce between reality and representation, in which the tall narration, from time to time is dreamlike, provocative, cultured and desecrating, through photos of fashion and advertising, it weaves itself with the introduction of the imaginary of fashion and the everyday life.
